Multilingual Display

DeviceOn/ePaper supports the display and updating of various languages. Users can upload their own language font files, either free or purchased through official channels, to accurately display text in different languages, achieving global multilingual support. Additionally, this feature allows for the upload of artistic fonts, such as handwritten styles, providing excellent display effects for poster or advertisement presentations.

You can download free font files from Google Fonts, with supported file extensions including .otf, .ttf, and .ttc. For example, if you want to download an Arabic font, you can search and download it from the website. Here are the steps:

Step 1. Visit Google Fonts: Go to Google Fonts.

Step 2. Search for the Desired Language: Use the search bar to look for fonts that support Arabic or any other desired language.

Step 3. Select the Font: Click on the font that you want to use.

Step 4. Download the Font File: Click the download button to get the font files in .otf, .ttf, or .ttc format.

Step 5. Upload to DeviceOn/ePaper. Navigate to the Template page, and then click the Font icon.

Step 6. Click the Add button to upload a new font.

Step 7. Upload the font file and give it a name.

Step 8. Upload successfully.

Step 9. Drag a Static Label as an example. Fill in the value with Arab text and select the font family with the font we uploaded, here is Arabic.

Step 10. Save and preview it.

As you can see, we successfully generated Arabic text in this image.
