General Function

In smart warehouse applications, ePaper displays mounted on shelves are used to show the status of incoming and outgoing item numbers, quantities during picking, and information about stock shortages. Integrating such a platform not only allows for real-time synchronization of information with the customer's backend systems but also offers ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) benefits and time-saving advantages. This integration promotes environmental sustainability and operational efficiency by reducing paper usage and streamlining inventory management processes.

Using the smart warehouse application as an example, we can display the information of warehouse item numbers on individual ePaper displays through the following four steps:

  1. Data Collection: Gather the item number information from the warehouse management system.

  2. Template Design: Design a template with a user-friendly template designer.

  3. Data Assignment: Assign the transmitted data to specific EPD displays corresponding to the designated items.

  4. EPD Display Update: Update the EPD displays with the assigned item number information, ensuring each display shows the correct data for its respective item.
