Bind Data

EPD devices are neutral devices; they cannot determine what image to display. Therefore, it is essential to inform the device about the upcoming image through data binding. Hence, binding data is the first step for correctly delivering an image to a specific e-paper device.

The purpose of this section is to bind customers' application information to an e-paper device. For example, if users want to update an e-paper device of "00124b00211d4917" with Part No. "1410023670" information, they should bind these two items together.

Bind Single EPD Device

Step 1. Navigate to the EPD Controller page.

Step 2. Click the button under the Bind section.

Step 3. Select template and item data, then click OK to bind this data.

Bind A Large Number of EPD Devices

Step 1. Navigate to the EPD Controller page.

Step 2. Click the Upload button on the button panel.

Step 3. Prepare a CSV file or a JSON file according to the following instructions, and then click OK to upload a file.
